Can I buy marijuana in Arkansas for recreational use?

Only medical cannabis is legal in Arkansas and only for use in treating specific qualifying conditions. If you have a qualifying condition and certification from a doctor, you may apply for the Medical Marijuana Card.

Is medical cannabis covered by my health insurance?

No, at this time medical cannabis is not covered by any health insurance in the state of Arkansas. All purchases made through Purspirit (or any dispensary) will need to be paid for directly by the patient at the time of purchase.

Can cannabis hurt my pet if consumed by accident?

Yes, marijuana and cannabis products can be toxic and potentially lethal to pets if consumed through digestion or even second-hand smoke. Can I drive while using or after using medical cannabis?

You should NEVER operate a vehicle during or after using any form of medical cannabis. It is illegal to do so even if you have a valid MMJ Card.
